Marin Brady first came up with the idea of Camp Legend in 2020 on a hike during the year-long trip around the perimeter of the US with her younger sister, Sophie, and parents, Bob and Melissa Brady. She realized being in nature was one of the most amazing things anyone could experience. After lots of hiking, pondering, and planning Marin Brady is proud to present and give you and your kids Camp Legend.
A Word from Marin
You always read in stories about kids saving the world. Why should that remain fiction?
The reason I brought Camp Legend to life is because kids need to experience adventure! The need to learn how to trust and work as a team.
I've gone on some pretty fun adventures myself. When COVID-19 hit, me, my younger sister Sophie and our parents, moved out of our house and into a 300 square foot travel trailer. We spent 365 days in that trailer. In that time we explored 42 different states, met/stayed with and connected with 150 people, and we became a well oiled machine. I look back over and over again realizing how amazing that was and I can't wait to do something like that again.
You don't need to pack up and move to have an adventure. All it takes is a willingness. I hope to help your child(ren) become braver, stronger, leaders, and heroes.
I hope you see how important adventure is. I'm hoping to do a lot of exploring and adventuring with your kids! I hope we will all become better together! Hope to see you at camp! Happy adventuring! :)
